WHAT TO WEAR - TEEN/SENIORS
Here are some ideas to consider as you choose clothing for your Teen/Senior photo shoot! See the Style Guides below as well!
- Layers and textures look great (cable knit, lace, wool)
- Steer clear of big logo shirts (brands come and go)
- Patterns are ok, consider solid colors as well (more timeless)
- Dresses/skirts - bring shorts to wear with (more pose options)
- Shoes - comfy ones for walking and the great looking, but uncomfy ones to throw on
- Tank tops - to wear under shirts - for girls that will need to change on location
Plan on your shoot lasting 2 hours, possibly a little longer with travel time. Between 2 and 4 outfits is plenty. Remember, the less time you spend changing, the more time you have in front of the camera. Most of your photos will be from the waist up, but feel free to have fun with shoes, too! Layers are a great way to get more "looks" without a full clothing change. So, consider vests, jackets, scarves and hats to add some style and flair! Let us know if there are locations you love or things we will need to plan for (horses, dogs, turtles, etc). Bring mom or dad or a friend along to watch. We'll put them to work, as well.
